The Answer To a Common Problem

Here’s a true story that I’m sure will sound familiar to many other parents.  I took my oldest child to a mommy and me class a few days ago.  She’s a toddler, not yet potty trained, and she wears pull ups.  Right before the class started, she had a very messy and smelly diaper, and I took her into the bathroom to change her.  After changing her, I didn’t know what to do with the diaper, because I had it in a cheap plastic bag, and it wasn’t keeping in the odor.  I didn’t feel right leaving it in the trash, especially because we were the first class of the day, and I knew it would sit.  I had my Un Apres Midi de Chien passy as a diaper bag, and really didn’t want to put this smelly bag in my passy!  Choosing from two evils, I put the dirty bag in my diaper bag, and put it in the changing room.

This situation will completely be avoided in the future, because I’ve learned about Diaper Baggies. Diaper baggies are the first bag to include a zippered closure, which keeps everything, including smells, locked in. Diaper Baggies currently are available with two adorable patterns – a flower, and a giraffe, and more styles are in production. These bags work unbelievably well. Honestly, I didn’t really believe anything could keep in the odors until I tried these bags.  They are also made from recycled plastic, so you can feel good about using them.

Diaper Baggies can be found at http://www.diaperbaggies.com/, and there is a current special where you can buy 2 bags and get 1 free!
