Depending upon the day, the amount of baby items I need to carry with me changes. I always need a changing pad and diapers however. That’s why I love accessories that I can fill up and move from bag to bag. Then, I can fill the bag up with all of the other things I need, like baby food, sippy cups, and bibs, and know that I am all set with the basic essentials.
I recently found some fabric that I love, and so I contacted Ida of Emmie’s World to see if she could make me some new accessories for my bags. She sized up the amount of fabric I had, and determined that she could make a large diaper changing pad (complete with a pouch in the same pattern) and an Emmie Case. I am so pleased with the results, and had to share them here!
The diaper changing pad with pouch, which is a relatively new item, is huge (30 inches by 20 inches)! However, it folds up pretty small, and fits nicely in the pouch. It’s covered with vinyl, so it wipes clean, and the size makes it perfect for all occasions. I especially like to have a large changing pad when I’m going to be out and about because I never know what type of facilities are available for changing. If I have to change my baby on the floor – I don’t want any of him to touch the ground!
The Emmie Case has a side zipper and a handle, so you can load it up with a bunch of diapers (I can fit several in each size) and wipes, or just a few diapers and some diaper cream. You can always just grab the case out of your bag for a quick diaper change also.
