Buying green products has become a way of life for many parents, and is certainly not a short lived trend. Finding all of these products, however, has often been difficult, in that just about anything can be labeled “green” and eco-friendly products are often not available in mass merchandisers.
The online store, buygreen.com, offers a great way for parents to find and buy products that are truly eco-friendly. We checked out two items for our toddler, the SIGG water bottle, and a Klean Kanteen 12 oz sippy. Both products claim to be free of leaching plastics.
The SIGG water bottle is a workhorse – made of a single piece of aluminum, it is crack-resistant, durable, and is fun and fashionable. The Klean Kanteen is made of stainless steel, and is more of a traditional sippy with an Avent plastic spout. Both are wonderful products and fit cleanly in most diaper bags!
