Reading is one of my favorite things to do, whether it’s on vacation, in my free time, or waiting at the doctor’s office. My new latest obsession/gadget is the Amazon Kindle available only at Amazon.com.
If you haven’t heard about it, the Kindle is an eBook available exclusively from Amazon.com. Kindle books can be purchased wirelessly from almost anywhere, and are available almost instantaneously. It’s perfect for traveling, so you won’t have to carry loads of books with you, and can purchase new ones whenever you need something different.
The Kindle is lightweight, and comes with a charger and a leather cover. The screen is amazing – it almost looks just like a printed page, with no glare. Navigation is simple, and you can add a virtual bookmark just like you’d do with a printed book. The battery life is really impressive – one charge lasts almost an entire week!
The Kindle was backordered for month but Amazon has finally caught up with demand. You can find the Kindle at Amazon.com.
