This past week has been one of those weeks spent on the couch. We’re all sick here and it’s been a chore to do anything normal. In times like these, we give in and let my son watch more than his usual share of television. Thankfully, we had received a few Thomas and Friends DVDs to help us through our recuperation.
Mud Glorious Mud – My son is loving this DVD. It includes some new favorites such as Elizabeth, Ned, and other construction roadway vehicles. Laced between the 6 episodes are sing-a-longs, which my guy can’t get enough of. His very favorite episode has to be “Mud Glorious Mud.” It’s definitely a little boy’s dream come true with mud, trains, and construction vehicles. He laughs every time at Ned’s accident. This is currently available.
Thomas & Friends: Henry & the Elephant – With the late George Carlin as narrator, this DVD includes 6 episodes of Thomas & Friends. Our favorite episode includes are more favorite Thomas character…Bulstrode the Barge. My guy spent time on the couch this week watching the screen as he kept Bulstrode by his side. This DVD will be released on July 22.
