YEAH YEAH Out Loud or YYOL is a small program created to help boost children’s self-esteem. With Hur-ray the sun and Kiddazy the daisy, educators and parents can help support and engender self-esteem. The program materials include two puppets, a book, and an online resource for activities and worksheets. YYOL also offers stickers, bookmarks, and posters to accompany the program. It can be used by parents, teachers, mentors, or any child care providers. The book is colorful and my sons are loving the simple, rhythm of it. You can stick with the suggested script or have the children help you to create one. Of course, they also loved taking turns with the bright puppets and my oldest practiced cheering for his younger brother.
