Last summer, I reviewed Dado Cubes from Fat Brain Toys. The entire family, from my husband and I to our two children all love building and playing with these simple yet innovative little cubes.
This summer, in addition to the Dado Cubes (we have both the original colors and the blues), we are also playing with Dado Squares. Made in the USA, Dado Squares allow children to develop structures as high as three feet, but fit in a small square box. My kids love to build all kinds of structures, and enjoy helping my husband and I build also. These little squares are completely addictive – you will want to build loads of designs yourself! I love the fact they are compact – they are perfect for a trip to Grandma’s or a vacation. When it’s time to clean up, I have my kids pick them up by color, which becomes a game in itself.
