My kids love books, and are happy just flipping through the pictures, although they prefer it when we read to them. We received the new Poingo Interactive Storybook recently, and my son has been absolutely fascinated with it!
The Poingo intro system comes with the pen, as well as two books by Disney/Pixar — Finding Nemo and CARS. The pen works right out of the box with the two books, using infrared technology. Just turn it on, press it to the page, and it will start narrating to you. Although it’s recommended for children 3-7, my son is 2 1/2 and he figured out how to use it immediately. The books are hardcovered and high quality, so they can definitely stand up to a little wear and tear.
