I’ll admit to liking top 40 music – and to listening to it regularly. My daughter, who’s now four, loves listening to it also – not because she likes the lyrics, but because she likes the tunes. I had heard Kidz Bop music before, because they play it as Snip-Its (where my kids get their hair cut), but never really knew what it was. So, when I received a copy of a CD for review, I was excited to play it for my kids.
Kidz Bop features popular top 40 hits, sung by children, and with the lyrics modified slightly to be more kid appropriate. CD 15 includes songs such as “So What” by Pink, “Disturbia” by Rihanna, and “Crush” by David Archuleta. In addition, their website, http://www.kidzbop.com, has introduced some interactive content, including a free download of the singalong version of “Let it Rock”, as well as the Kidz Bop Video Karaoke Maker.
