If you are a fan of soul and R&B music, check out “The Birth of Corneille” the American debut CD from artist Corneille. Born in Rwanda where he escaped the 1994 genocide, he moved to Germany where he was adopted by friends of his parents. He eventually found his way to Montreal, where first studied, but then began recording music.
The new CD, his first to be released in the US, features a variety of soulful songs that are great for relaxing. I enjoy listening to the CD while commuting to work because it’s enjoyable and soothing.
