I’m a peanut butter addict - I could eat it every single day! I don’t particularly like processed foods, however, and generally prefer my foods as close to natural state as possible (for foods I eat, as well as foods my children eat). I was happy to find out about Maranatha Peanut Butter, a company that produces regular and organic varieties of more healthy peanut butter.
I tried the organic chunky version of Maranatha Peanut Butter, and many other varieties are available, including cashew and almond butter. If you are used to traditional peanut butter, the first thing you’ll probably notice is the layer of oil on the top (except for the no-stir versions). This is because there are no ingredients included to prevent the separation of oil and solids.
