pbskidsgo earthdaylogo2 1 300x298 PBS Kids and PBS Kids Go Celebrate Earth DayNext Wednesday, Earth Day, check out the “PBS Kids Share the Earth Day” celebration, featuring premiere episodes from Curious George, Arthur, and Cyberchase, as well as Earth Day themed episodes of Super Why!, Sid the Science Kid, and Maya and Miguel.

We had the chance to preview the Earth Day episode of Sid the Science Kid, and my kids can’t get enough of it. In the episode, Sid explores the importance of dirt, and my daughter especially found it really interesting. We’ve already watched it at least five times.

In addition to the television programming, the new PBS KIDS GO! video player (pbskids.org/go/video) will host an Earth Day channel with themed content from Arthur, Design Squad, the Greens, and Maya and Miguel. Check it all out next Wednesday — it’s a great way to introduce your little ones to Earth Day!
