In 1976 we moved to Muskego WI, I was 9-years old. We lived in a cul-de-sac where a lot of homes with kids my own age lived. I remember leaving the house in the summer in the morning, coming in for lunch and dinner and not coming back in until the porch light went on. We spent our time playing kick the can, baseball, football. It was a great childhood. My kids have no idea how it was before Nintendo and Nickelodeon. I was very lucky.

My favorite thing about the 70′s was riding my bike all over the countryside and not coming home till dinner. We had a blast and I have so many memories from playing with my friends. My best friend lived 4 miles from me, no problem when I was young, we would meet in the middle than ride for hours. It was also Shawn Cassidy lovin’ time. I can remember the crazy outfits my parents wore before heading out to the disco. Bell bottom jeans, the bigger the better, if they didn’t make you trip and fall down then they were not big enough. My summer vacation in southern France 1979 …….! I will never forget it
I loved everything about the 70s. I was young so it was all about fun. Great music, great times, lots of playing outside and we never worried about the garbage we have to worry about now-a-days. The good ole days…:)
The long hair….everyone had long hair!!!
I loved the 70′s. My children were pre-teens, they introduced me to all the cool music I still love.

I was a baby, I don’t remember the 70s..
70s rock I would assume was great
Life was carefree, fun and not expensive. So much different than today.
The one thing I remember the most was my dad was running a skating rink and I got to go that summer with him every night and I learned to skate and a older man came every Friday night and his wife didn’t skate so he taught me to dance on skates. Thats my best memory and I think that Splish, Splash, I was taking a Bath came out around then.
My favorite thing about the 70s….ME!! lol Seriously I was born in ’78 I don’t have anything favorite about the 70s except me being born lol
I’m sorry it’s so easy…….but it was Disco.

It’s gotta be the free flow of society. Loved the 70′s for that! Thanks for the giveaway!
My favorite thing was the clothes. Everyone was so determined to be who they were, had their own style, and had their own sense of indivduality. People’s clothes were their freedom of speech. The whole generation’s style was of self-expression. It was so good that now people continue to bring it back.
I liked the hairstyles especially the shag cut!
I loved Happy Days!
Thanks for the giveaway…I loved the Saturday morning TV kids shows i.e. “Land Of The Lost”, etc.
Of course for me it was Disco!
I remember going to the teenage dances & danicing to Disco Duck & doing the hussle!
My favorite thing about the 70′s was the movies and tv shows.
I’d have to say The Mary Tyler Moore Show.
i was very little then so I guess you could say – it was a carefree time with no bills and no real responsibility!
