On May 7, IHG (the parent company of Holiday Inn, Holiday Inn Express, Crowne Plaza, Hotel Indigo, and the InterContinental) hosted its World’s Biggest Bed Jump – thousands of people in New York, Shanghai, London and Paris all jumped on oversized 42-foot by 28-foot beds to celebrate the company’s Biggest Free Nights promotion. Any time you stay in an IHG hotel property between now and July 3rd you’ll get a third night for free that can be used at a later date at any of the Group’s 4,000 hotels worldwide. If I could leave the kids at home with my husband or mom, I’d go to a hotel just so I could sleep late, have someone else make the bed and clean the bathroom, eat without anybody on my lap, read a book, go for a swim, and watch something besides cartoons on tv.
