I was never really athletic when I was growing up. My husband, on the other hand, played just about every sport imaginable, and spends the weekends teaching my kids how to hit and kick a ball. Therefore, my 4 year old daughter and my 2 year old son, are getting really interested in sports.
In the past few weeks, my son and daughter have been watching The Sportys DVD – which is an animated feature that helps teach kids the fundamentals of baseball. From running the bases, to hitting the ball, an animated baseball named “Stitch” (voiced by Michael Clarke Duncan) coaches kids through the terminology and rules of baseball.
My son loves watching it, although he’s a little young for it (it’s recommended for ages 3 and up). My daughter, on the other hand, is the perfect age, and is really starting to understand how baseball is played. It’s definitely a fun DVD.

My son would love this DVD!! He’s only 3 so he isn’t on a team yet but will one day! Our favorite MLB team is the Atlanta Braves and our college teams would be Mississippi State and Vanderbilt!

My nephew who is 4 just started T-ball. So my favorite baseball team is his, The Westport Rangers. But if it has to be a professional team I guess the Atlanta Braves. My nephew and his team would love this DVD.
