When I received my baggino in the mail, I couldn’t wait to test it out and, of course, my husband was the first to see the demonstration. I really couldn’t have expected his response. He was amazed. He called it ‘the tactical diaper bag’ and ‘a tool belt’ for diaper changes. You know what? It really is. It’s the perfect man diaper bag! Don’t get me wrong! I think it’s great but my husband has never shown so much appreciation for any baby product before!
So what is the baggino? It’s a diaper bag with a strap that slips over your shoulder. When it’s time for a change, unzip the front zipper and slip the sides of the bag around your waist. With a belt to slide around your waist, you can keep it open as it exposes all of your diaper changing ‘tools.’ A changing pad simply unsnaps and unrolls for you to place on the changing surface. There is a pocket for diapers, a pocket for wipes, a pocket for creams, and anything else you could need during the messiest of changes. When the bag is closed, there are also pockets exposed for any items needed for baby while out and about. I wish all bags came with the small pocket attached to the strap that allows quick access to a cell phone or money. I hate digging for my phone as it is ringing or searching for a few bucks at the check out.
The baggino just might be the best Father’s Day gift for new fathers this year. Of course, there isn’t a mother (or a grandparent or caregiver) out there that wouldn’t appreciate a little more organization and ease in taking baby out around town.
