I’ve reviewed several other products by Guthy Renker recently, and for the last month, I’ve been using their Meaningful Beauty line, endorsed by Cindy Crawford and created by her dermatologist, Dr. Sebagh. Getting Cindy Crawford’s skin is obviously extremely appealing to all moms (all women, actually), but does it actually work?
As a disclaimer, I’ll mention that I tried the products for a month before writing this and I really think I need longer to see full results. As with most of our reviews, we received free samples of the product to try.
The 30-day kit includes the following items: eye cream, cleanser, night cream, day cream (SPF 20), mask, serum, and neck/chest cream. I used them for a month, and found that while I ran low on the neck/chest cream, serum, and cleanser, I still have plenty of the other products.
My favorite product is definitely the neck/chest cream. I used it nightly, and found that my neck and chest had a smoother texture, and was more even. I really wish I didn’t run out of it, because I love it! My least favorite product is the eye cream – I found that it was a little harsh for my eye area.
So, how did it work? The jury is still out, but my skin does look A LOT smoother, vibrant, and radiant. It’s hard to tell in a month if it’s worked as an anti-aging product, but it’s definitely something I plan to buy myself, so that I can continue to get these results.

I loved the decollete (neck chest cream), too. I’ve been testing out their products and that’s my favorite. I like the night cream, but it smells like potatoes to me!
I turn 40 next month (EEEEK) and I’m a big proponent of moisturizers.

I think you’re right, it would definitely take longer for results to show, I’m a little surprised they didn’t provide more samples. How could you get full results in a few weeks? Ah well! such is life, right?

Jamie – I couldn’t find the name of it – so thanks. I had already thrown out the package. Glad you like it too! I don’t think the night cream smells bad though – I’ll have to see next time if I can smell potatoes!
Tracy – they sent me a one month supply of four different lines, so I understand why I didn’t get more. But, it’s hard to know if it will work long term.

I am 40 and was still having breakouts. It was so hard to find the right combination of Benzol Peroxide and a good moisturizer. I decided to try the Meaningful Beauty after my skin got so rough from a new pimple medicine. I am amazed. After the 1st day of use my skin felt soft, supple and dewy. It had not felt like that in a long long time. My other concern was since I was prone to acne, the new products would make me breakout. They didn’t. In fact I have not broken out at all and have stopped using my acne medicine. This product is doing it all. My pores are much smaller and my skin is smoother. The one wrinkle on the side of my mouth is slowly reducing. I have one age spot that I hope will be helped by this product. My favorite products are the night cream, eye cream and the serum. I did not care for the throat cream is smells funky to me. The facial cleanser was just ok.
I’ve been using over the counter Cetaphil cleanser and it does the same job. So I called the company and they will allow you to mix and match to get the products that you will use. So I ordered double the supply of the eye, night and serum and am getting them every 6 months instead of 3 months. This product does deliver.
