You may remember that I wrote a review of SafetyTats last year. We love using SafetyTats for trips to Walt Disney World, because it provides some piece of mind if my kids ever get separated from us.
Now that my daughter is 5, she’s started taking some classes and going on playdates that I am not able to directly supervise. As a result, I’ve worried about her tree nut allergy – what would happen if food is served at these events? So, I’ve started using two products that make me feel better.
The first is SafetyTats. SafetyTats offers allergy tattoos – I had my daughter’s customized with my cell phone number and allergic reaction directions (Benadryl then EpiPen). My daughter knows to show her tattoo to anyone offering her food.
The next is allergy alert labels by Mabel’s Labels. Mabel’s Labels stick on and do not come off, even in the dishwasher. They are perfect for water bottles and plastic disposable food containers.
What products do you use for allergic kids?
