An Easier Dinner Time with Pitter Patties

clip image001 thumb An Easier Dinner Time with Pitter PattiesMeal time with my family can be a difficult time for me. I have picky eaters, like my husband, who won’t eat anything cheesy or creamy, and an allergic eater, who can’t eat dairy, egg, nuts, beans, chicken, pork, and random fruit. I love cheese. My husband loves eggs. I have an aversion to barbecue sauce. My husband and son love anything that is slathered in it. Get the picture? It means I often make 2-3 meals every night…something for everyone. It’s nice to have foods that are quick, easy and healthy on hand in case me, my husband, or our sons don’t like or can’t eat the main meal. When Pitter Patties contacted us for a review, I was so excited to give them a try.

We received boxes of three different varieties of Pitter Patties. I wasclip image0017 thumb An Easier Dinner Time with Pitter Patties bummed to find out that my youngest, food-allergic son would be unable to enjoy them because of his allergies but they looked yummy enough for my husband, my oldest son, and I to enjoy. Pitter Patties are small casseroles made with fresh vegetables, whole grains, and all natural protein. With no artificial ingredients and zero trans fats, they are a great alternative to other frozen convenience foods. There are 5 types of Pitter Patties (three of which are gluten-free). Viva Vegan are made with legumes, quinoa, carrots, tomato sauce, peas, and spice. Pasghetti Patties are made from whole grain pasta, tomato sauce and cheese. Zucchini, mushrooms, cheese, and oats makes up the Cheezini Patty. The Spinach Patty includes spinach, mushrooms, eggs, and cottage cheese. Yammy Chicken combines hormone-free chicken, apples, and brown rice.

Pitter Patties are a great option for lunch and dinners. Super easy to prepare, all they require is heating. Fully cooked, it takes 2 minutes in the microwave or 15 minutes in an oven to prepare the patties. They fit all of my requirements for a convenient option…quick, easy, healthy, and yummy.
