My skin isn’t perfect, unfortunately, and I do need to use some amount of concealer and foundation in order to make it took clear. But, I don’t like to use heavy coverage or chemicals, so I was happy to try out RAW Minerals from RAW Natural Beauty.
The RAW Minerals Discovery Kit includes two different shades of mineral foundation (great for mixing), an SPF 15 powder, a mineral glow powder, and three brushes. Because my skin is a little darker than normal from my recent trip to Florida, I blend the darker foundation with the lighter one to create the right shade. Later in the winter, I’ll probably only use the lighter shade.
The brushes are good quality, not great, but do the job appropriately. The concealer brush is great for applying the powder over blemishes – something I have to do all too often. The powders provide a nice light but buildable coverage and the overall effect is a great base for makeup.
