Toy Tuesday: The Biggest Play Date of the Season!

by Jodi on December 4, 2009

TOY TUESDAY 590x109 1 Toy Tuesday: The Biggest Play Date of the Season! As I finish up my Christmas holiday season shopping, I have to admit – I love shopping for toys for my kids! I try really hard not to spoil them, but not buying everything that they will love is really difficult! My kids are five and three – the best ages for toy buying! This holiday season, my kids are getting some really fun stuff – starting with the first gift I purchased, the American Girl Doll of the Year – Chrissa. My daughter has wanted Chrissa since she saw her in the catalog back in September, and hasn’t forgotten. When I explained to her that she already had an American Girl doll – she said, “I want two – you have two kids, right?”. Hard to argue with logic like that!

My son, on the other hand, has been clutching the Toys R Us catalog nonstop. He wants the Fisher-Price GeoTrax Transportation System Remote Control Timbertown Railway, and can’t stop talking about it! I just can’t wait to see my little guy’s eyes when he sees his train.

Do you know what’s even better than buying exactly what your kids want? Buying what they want, at a great price! On December 8, Bill Me Later is hosting “Toy Tuesday”. Visit www.toytuesday.com to find great deals on the holiday’s most wanted toys and gifts from leading retailers such as Toys “R” Us, Walmart.com, Step 2, Little Tikes, eToys, Drugstore.com, FAO Schwarz, HP, Overstock.com, MacMall, Mercantila and more.

This contest is now over. Congratulations to Jenni Williams, who has won the gift card. Want to win a $250 gift card to MacMall from Toy Tuesday? Leave a comment below with what toy(s) your kids are hoping to get this holiday season! Not only will you win a gift card, but a participating charity will win a $500 gift card! Hurry up – the contest ends TONIGHT at midnight EST, and winner will be announced at 1pm EST tomorrow.  The official rules of this giveaway can be found HERE.

Visit Laurie at TipJunkie.com tomorrow for another Toy Tuesday post & giveaway. Also, please check out the Bill Me Later blog tomorrow for a special guest post from celebrity chef, Claudine Pepin. She’ll be talking about great kitchen toys for kids and sharing a special family recipe!
