My hair is always colored – sometimes a dark color to just cover the gray, and other times with dark color and highlights. I wash my hair everyday, and I’ve found that the color fades really quickly. But I can’t go without washing my hair daily, especially since I run and workout frequently.
Celebrity hairstylist Chaz Dean, frustrated with the amount of detergents and harsh chemicals in traditional shampoos, spent five years developing and testing his own hair care line, Wen. Wen washes and nourishes hair without chemicals used in other hair care products, such as sodium laurel sulfate. It doesn’t lather, but does foam a bit when water is added. The best thing though, is that it totally refreshes the scalp and feels great. My hair still feels clean, even though it isn’t technically washed with a shampoo, and it’s been looking shiny and healthy.
Wen can be purchased through the Wen Hair Care Web site. I loved this product so much that I’ll be reviewing the whole line in January – stay tuned!
Disclosure: We received the Wen products at no cost for review.

I too have used this product several times. The first couple were great and my hair was amazing. But after that my hair became real oily. I have naturally oily hair anyway. I used the Cucumber/Aloe and the Laverder. For me it works much better as just a conditioner.
