I’m one of those perimeter of the grocery store shoppers. So I often pass right by things like Shake ‘N Bake. But honestly? I know chicken is good for me, I know it’s better than red meat and pork… but ….. I just don’t love it. So I’m always looking for ways to make it taste better. When I had the chance to do a “Shakeover” of my typical chicken recipes, I jumped at it, because I really wanted to learn new ways to cook chicken. Chicken Parmesan is one of my favorite dishes, so I grabbed the Italian Seasoning box, and shaked and baked.
For those of you not familiar with Shake ‘N Bake, the package comes with enough for two meals. You get two packages of seasonings, and two bags. Place the seasoning in a bag, add wet chicken, and then shake until the seasoning coats the chicken. Then, bake according to the instructions on the package and the type and size of chicken.
It was simple and easy, and my chicken parmesan was delicious! It wasn’t heavy, or greasy at all – it was nice and light, and tasted great!

I grew up with and love shake n bake. it’s so easy.
I use to use Shake n Bake a lot ,but for some reason havent in years,so im really interested in trying it again to get my grandsons to eat more,it always made a great meal,I dont know why I havent used it in so long,so thanks for the chance to try it again!

I’d like to win! Does anyone else remember the commercial with the little kid going “It’s Shake n Bake, and I helped!” I say that every time we make Shake and Bake, and my husband never saw the commercial and just thinks I’m being weird.
I haven’t used Shake and Bake in years, would like to try again.

I love Shake and Bake. I use it all the time. They even have tons of flavors now. It always reminds me of my granny who used to make it for us all the time.

I use Shake ‘N Bake alot. I sometimes add different spices to the mix for a change. And I like to sprinkle some of it on top of a mac and cheese casserole for some added crunch. It’s got lots of uses! Thanks.
