As you may know, this year, two of my goals are to lose weight and learn how to bake (reading that now, I guess those seem to be in conflict, don’t they?). To do both fully, I need a high-quality kitchen scale that can help me measure out my foods.
EatSmart offered to send me their Precision Pro scale – a reasonably priced scale that is stylish and functional. The Precision Pro scale works up to 11 pounds, shows ounces, pounds, grams, and kilograms, and measures in .05 oz/1 gram increments. It works with two AAA batteries (which are included), and has a three minute auto shut off feature. It also offers a tare feature, so you can zero out the weight of the plate or container holding the item you are weighing.
I am really impressed with how lightweight and sleek this scale is. It fits right in with my kitchen decor, and is easily transported if you choose to store it between uses. You can purchase the EatSmart PrecisionPro scale at Amazon.com.
Win it! Want to win an EatSmart Precision Pro scale? Leave us a comment below with your favorite feature and you’ll be entered. Contest ends 3/30 at 11:59 ET.
Disclosure: EatSmart provided us with a scale for review at no cost, and one for giveaway. In addition, the Amazon.com link is an affiliate link.

Wow, could I use this. I’m just getting back to Weight Watchers and everything is measuring and weighing. My scale takes up my whole counter- this sounds much cooler!!
So cool. I love that it would fit right in a drawer. I’m trying out Gluten-free baking and so many recipes have weights instead of cups of flour. Thanks for the chance to win.
I like the Tare feature.
I love how sleek it looks. The scale we currently have looks like a throwback to the ’70s
Just found your blog this morning while watching the Fox25 morning news. LOVE IT! THank you!
I received this for Christmas last year after asking for a kitchen scale. User reviews were quite high – for a good reason! It is *highly* accurate, I even use it to count things (weigh 1 or 10, divide total weight appropriately). It goes up to 11 pounds, so you can place a big bowl on it, tare to zero, and still weigh lots more. I’ve used Living Cookbook to convert some recipes to weight because it can be so much faster to just dump 2 oz. into the bowl and tare for the next ingredient – no measuring cups to clean
It’s so light & portable, I take it to the grocery store when I buy in bulk – faster and more accurate than stepping over to their big mechanical scale (I made 40 pounds of a mix for Christmas gifts this year – this saved my life!). And a year later I’m still on the original batteries. Get one, you’ll find many uses for it.
