I love that bringing your own reusable bags has become so welcomed…and so cute! Check out the offerings from June Fifteen. They have a whole collection of eco-chic bags made out of renewable jute, rattan cane and cotton.

My favorite bag is the Palatte bag (top left). It’s the perfect size for a trip to the park or a lunch date at a friend’s house. It has a great zippered pocket on the inside for cell phone and keys, and–my favorite part–an interior section of the bag that neatly holds two bottles.  I don’t know why I love that idea so much.  Maybe it’s because I usually use an oversized bag that leaves me digging for my palette top 253x300 Get Eco Chic With June Fifteen Bagswater bottle somewhere at the bottom.  Or maybe it’s that I’m pregnant and the thought of packing a picnic and a bottle of wine sound so dreamy right about now. Either way, it’s a brilliant design in an adorable bag.  Plus, their bags range from $6.99 to $15.99 so you won’t break the bank to look cute and save the world from one more plastic bag.

Even better? June Fifteen makes being eco-friendly an integrated part of their business. Beyond their bags which are made from renewable and recyclable materials, the company works to foster a better, cleaner planet from their supply chain and manufacturing to their charity involvement. June Fifteen works with Build Rehabilitation Industries that helps to employ Americans with disabilities, supports a number of environmental organizations including Ballona Creek Renaissance and the Los Angeles Neighborhood Land Trust and is a member of 1% for the Planet. Cute bags from a worthwhile company? I’m sold.
