Cardboard Play Shuttle From KidsCraft and Giveaway!

by Jodi on April 7, 2010

KidsCraft Shuttle 1LR 229x300 Cardboard Play Shuttle From KidsCraft and Giveaway! My little guy loves making his own space.  In fact, he has a habit of gathering up all of the blankets and pillows in the house and putting them behind our reclining chair, making his own “nest” or “man cave”.  When visiting Grandma and Grandpa’s house last fall, he made his own travel nest there.  I knew he’d just love KidsCraft new cardboard playhouses, because it would give him a structured play center right in his own room.

I chose the shuttle imagination over the creation cottage, because my little guy loves space shuttles.  Made from 100% recycled materials, this shuttle can be colored and drawn on too!  My little ones were so excited when the box came, and insisted upon putting it together immediately.  Assembly does take a little while, and is best with two people (so one can hold it together while the other assembles).  But, the great thing – no tools are needed!  My kids couldn’t wait to play in the shuttle, and now, two weeks later, they still are just as excited about it as they were that first day.  Both of them fit in it to play, despite the fact that my son has filled it up with almost all of his toys and treasures!

The best thing about KidsCraft, however, isn’t the great products – it’s how responsible the company is.  They’ve donated 100 structures to a variety of charities, including the Ronald McDonald House and Boys and Club of America.  In addition, they have partnered with the Trees for the Future foundation, and with every product sold, the company plants one tree.  It’s so refreshing to hear about such a wonderful company that gives back!

aligned with other eco-friendly companies for components. And, to complete the spirit behind their “by children, for children” message, they give a portion of all proceeds to benefit children’s charities
