African Dwarf Frogs are tiny little things (about one and a half inches) and don’t require much work.  All you have to do is feed them twice a week, and change their water once every few months.  They are so much fun to watch – ours hang out on their rock or by the plant, but they also float and can jump quite high – something I discovered first-hand when one of them got away as I tried to move them from their shipping bag to their ecoAquarium (and yes, there may have been a scream).

My kids absolutely love them – they are much less work than most pets and are really fun to observe.
