Surely, you’ve heard that Toy Story 3 is now in theaters (can you believe the original was released in 1995 – while I was still in college?). Disney Consumer Products has introduced some fabulous new products to go along with the new movie – including some of the new story lines and characters.
We had the chance to try out two of the new toys – a set of Action Links, and the new Operation game, featuring Buzz Lightyear.
Action Links are a brand-new toy (one set is pictured above). The sets can be used individually, or you can combine them to make larger sets. Each offers figures and fun stunts, and the more you put together, the more stunts you’ll see.
The Operation game is just like the original, but with Buzz Lightyear. Instead of the traditional body parts (remember the funny bone?), you’ll remove pieces of the intergalactic space ranger. It’s fun to see this toy from my childhood reimagined for a new generation.
The new Toy Story 3 toys are available in mass merchandisers and toy stores.
