My children already love baseball, but they aren’t really old enough to play “pick-up” baseball in the neighborhood yet. My husband loves teaching them how to play, so he was really excited to try out the Backyard Sports: Sandlot Sluggers, a game by Atari for the Wii.
My kids have played the game a bunch of times and picked it up pretty quickly. They both prefer the pitching and catching aspects of the game and have a bit more difficulty with the fielding. The graphics are cute and fun, and the entire game is really kid-friendly. My kids are really learning more about how baseball is played – getting lots of practice for t-ball!
