Eggo Fruit Pizza Review & Giveaway

eggologo Eggo Fruit Pizza Review & GiveawayWith it being summer now, our summer routine is a bit lax, but once my daughter starts kindergarten in the fall, we’ll have to be operating on all cylinders.  When I was working in Boston, our routine was crazy, but we definitely found ways to work around it.

  • Prepare, prepare, prepare – get clothes ready ahead of time, and pack all bags the night before
  • Wait to get dressed – I wouldn’t put my business clothes on until it was time to go, to prevent the inevitable staining of my clothes
  • Coffee – in my house, it’s best to ignore me until I have my coffee.  Getting the coffee maker set up at night saves us!
  • Find healthy, easy-to-prepare breakfasts that the whole family can enjoy

As part of this campaign, I had the chance to try out the brand-new Eggo Real Fruit Pizzas, which combine real fruit and crunchy granola into a delicious breakfast meal.  They are super-easy to warm up – just take them from the freezer to the microwave on the included tray, and then, they are ready to serve!  This is one of those products that can speed up your morning routine.

Win it!  I have a product sample set of Eggo™Real Fruit Pizzas,(both varieties, Mixed Berry Granola and Strawberry Granola, one each) giveaway five Mom’s Favorite Stuff readers.  The five blog readers that will receive a prize will be selected at random using www.random.corg on August 5, 2010. Giveaway ends 7/28/10 at 11:59 PM ET. To enter, leave a comment below with your best morning routine tip!

In our house, the morning routine includes putting an oversized t-shirt on both girls until we arrive at the school parking lot. I can’t tell you how many times we’ve had to stop on our way out the door to change school uniforms because of toothpaste splatter or a drizzle of jam! They girls get dressed in their uniforms, then I put a large size t-shirt over them while they enjoy their breakfast and brush their teeth. Even if we’re running late and we have to take breakfast to go, I know their clothes are safe until I turn them over to their teachers!

My best morning tip is to do whatever you can the night before to get set up for the next day. I try to have clothes set out or stuff ready to quickly pack lunches.

I’m a list maker so what helps me get the day off right is knowing the night before what I will be doing and where I’m going the next day. With a list I can be sure nothing is overlooked.

My best morning routine tip is to always try to get up a few minutes earlier than necessary and get everything done that has to be done and then enjoy the remaining time reading (I prefer the Bible) and a Mountain Dew (others prefer coffee).

Tried the mixed berry this morning — pretty good. =0)
I think kids will like them. I was surprised and thrilled to learn that there is 10 grams of protein in one pizza! They are definitely worth a try. Morning routine? Everyone fends for themselves now but when the kids were young I would prepare the school lunch as soon as I got up (a very early bird) and make sure there were a few breakfast options ready to choose from…still do!

I have a shoe organizer in my daughters closet with 5 slots. In each slot we put her clothes for that school day. Including socks, underwear, Shoes and Jewelry. It REALLY cuts down on time in the morning.
Thanks for the chance.

We are fortunate enough to live close enough to the school so the kids finish their juice or milk before leaving and then as we walk, we’re able to enjoy flavored waffles while we talk about the day.

Depending on the moods my children wake up, they’re quick to change their minds about what clothes they want to wear. To avoid clothes thrown everywhere, they each lay out 2 outfits the night before. They know those are the clothes they laid out, so no more meltdowns. I also don’t have the extra laundry to do since trying to figure out what was clean or dirty in the pile of clothes on the floor.

We homeschool, so we don’t have to go about getting things in order to get out of the house or anything. I usually make breakfast of whatever everyone decides to eat that morning and get going into our daily routine.

Don’t schedule morning apps at doctors or dentists, and let the little things go. If the kids forget to brush their hair, let it go, it’s not a big deal.

The tip that works best for me, the non-morning person – I set my alarm 15 minutes earlier than I actually have to get up so I can hit snooze a few times that way I can wake slowly.

Like many others have said, we get almost everything ready the night before. But, we also have a calendar that gets checked every morning. If my son needs a library book, something for sharing, etc, it’s all on the calendar. It helps us stay on the ball!

I’m always sure to have the kids pick out their clothes the night before and they are laid out to jump into as soon as their head is up from their pillow. This keeps the morning going smoothly.

My best tip for mornings is to make sure everything is set out the night before. There’s always less time in the mornings and inevitably that’s when socks are missing, 1 shoe, laptop, etc. If everything is set out the night before then you don’t have to worry about those small things making you late.

I do let my children watch a little tv in the morning. However, nothing motivates them more to get dressed and eat breakfast because they know they can only watch tv if they are dressed and have eaten. 15 minutes worth of cartoons in the morning makes my life easier because my children are all ready to go without any fussing in the morning.

Thank you for the entry,

Nikki

Our best morning routine starts the night before by laying out clothes, setting coffee maker, and setting anything that needs to be taken to school/work on entrance way table. Then that morning our routine is just to get ready and think about the day ahead so we can visualize what needs to be done!
