I recently had the chance to catch up with the owners at Petunia Picklebottom and wanted to share some of my favorite picks from their spring collection (and some hints about things to come!)

Shopper Totes: I’ve been using Petunia Shopper Totes for the past year and can’t tell you how many compliments I get on them.  Not only are they stylish, but they are sturdy and a perfect blendsleepysantorini 576 sl 300x216 Spring Has Sprung at Petunia Picklebottom of Petunia’s combo of fashion and function. My favorite feature (and why I continue to reach for them as opposed to the other reusable bags I have) is that they conveniently fold up and “lock” closed. So until I need them, they stay compact and easy to store.

New Spring Fabrics: Every season, Petunia offers a new collection of drool-worthy colors and patterns and this spring is no exception. (From L to R, Moment in Morocco Shoulder Bag, Venus Roll Boxy Backpack, and Tea on the Thames Crosstown Clutch.) Plus check out Petunia’s trio of exclusive fabrics for Pottery Barn Kids, now available online, in catalog and at select stores.

Snuggle Set: The perfect gift for a baby shower or to deliver to a newborn, Petunia’s boy and girl Snuggle Sets are cozy, comfy and made from 100% organic cotton. Each set includes a footed onesie, knotted cap and swaddle blanket in one of two coordinated prints.

Carriers: In addition to their line of slings, Petunia has also recently added three different front carriers to their carrier collection. From left to right, the Sightseer is made from organic cotton and comes in a variety of prints, the Tour Guide is made from ec0-friendly materials including a recycled PET exterior and recycled nylon interior, and finally the Scout Walkabout gives dads something to don. With a strong silhouette, felt exterior and two, bold snap-out liners, the Walkabout provides a new look to baby wearing.

As for what’s coming from Petunia? Let’s just say to be first to hear about some of the new releases for fall (and we’re not just talking new fabrics here), you’ll definitely want to follow Petunia on Facebook or join their newsletter (see bottom of the homepage to sign up).
