Sonicare Challenge: First Full Week

In our first full week of the Sonicare Challenge, my biggest challenge was getting both of my little ones acclimated to the electric toothbrushes.  I’d purchased a cheap electric toothbrush for her a year ago, and she was so afraid of it that we ended up using it as a manual toothbrush.  So, I knew I had to tread lightly with both kids.

When we opened the electric toothbrush, both kids were so excited about their “big kid” brushes.  With my son, I used the brush manually first, then turned it on.  He loved it, but even now, I still have to start out with it in manual mode.  I proceeded the same way with my daughter, but now she’s absolutely fine with me using it in electric mode.
