My kids love listening to CDs, so we have lots of different choices to choose from. But most of the CDs, while entertaining, aren’t necessarily educational. And, with my little one entering kindergarten, I’m trying to get her into the swing of learning. So, I was looking forward to checking out the Billy Gorilly Rockin’ the Schoolhouse CDs. Version 1 of the CD is for Early Learning, while version 2 is for PreK through 1st grade.
Given the ages of my kids, we checked out the version 2 CD, which includes such songs as “The Five Senses”, “Counting by Fives”, and “Snacks or Treats”. “Snacks or Treats” is my personal favorite, because I’m always trying to teach my kids that treats are more special (and are served less frequently) than snacks.
Both of my kids enjoy the Billy Gorilly CD, and like listening to the music and the lessons. They are fun for adults, and as a parent, I like having this teaching tool. We listen to the songs and then talk about the lessons.
