WScoopNeck2 Sponsored Post: Ramblers Way Farm Sustainable WoolI had the chance recently to take a look at some of the products from Ramblers Way Farm, a company from the founders of Tom’s of Maine (one of my favorite companies!).  Ramblers Way Farm makes lightweight wool clothing – none of the thick, itchy, hot wool from your childhood here.

I’d love to have a $200 shopping spree with Ramblers Way – I’ve been admiring some of the products.  I especially love the Scoop Neck Short Sleeve Top pictured here, which is perfect for layering since it’s long and lightweight.  I also really like the long-sleeved Henley.

The nice things about these products is that are good for year-round, as the wool is superfine and worsted.  To be worsted, the wool fiber has to be removed of all of those itchy “nubs” so it’s thinner, more comfortable, and not itchy.  In addition, the wool is “superfine” – which means each fiber is softer and thinner than standard wools.  This makes each piece of clothing from Ramblers Way Farm appropriate for each season of the year, and perfect for layering.

I also love the fact that Ramblers Way Farm practices sustainability farming.  They move their flocks around and maintain clean facilities.  Currently, they own about 50 sheep, and plan to add more.
