Back to School With Fruit of the Loom

Fruit of the Loom

Disclosure: I received a gift card for Back to School shopping. All opinions are my own.

My kids go back to school at the end of the month, so earlier this week, we started our back to school shopping. I use the back to school season to stock up on basic necessities for the kids along with new fall clothing. So, our shopping list usually includes school supplies like backpacks and pencils along with clothing like underwear, socks, and new outfits. Shopping for back to school can be challenging though. With a 7 and 8 year old, I find that I have to focus my kids and steer them in the right direction, reminding them why we are shopping. They usually try to also buy video games, DVDs, candy, and other unrelated items.

Back to schoolBut back to school shopping isn’t just overwhelming, it’s also pricey. Like most families, we do end up spending quite a bit of money during the back to school season. But if underwear is on your shopping list, Fruit of the Loom is offering a great promotion for back to school. With their Underwear for Overachievers deal, you’ll get free underwear in their bonus packs. The packages include lots of different designs – so you are likely to find sets perfect for your kids. We went to Walmart for back to school shopping, and loaded up our cart with underwear and socks for both kids, new pajamas, a few new back to school outfits, and pencils for homework.

As usual, I did have to redirect my kids’ attention to the task at hand, reminding them that we weren’t there to buy watches, crayons, and bathing suits. But overall, we had a successful trip and are now stocked with the essentials for back to school.

You can learn more about the Fruit of the Loom promotion on their Facebook page.

With one in 3rd grade and one going to Middle School, this would be a wonderful win to help with the back to school supply lists that seems to be never ending :)

Shopping is over whelming no doubt. And I couldn’t ever do it while my daughter was growing up and went through school unless I had the helpfulness of glancing over the paper flyers & pre-looking to see what’s on sale, make my written list & use coupons to help save money. I think walmart offering great low prices on #Fruit of the Loom wears , sure helps in that task. Besides, they last for the full year of good quality wear, so your not right back shopping a few months later for the same item when you buy cheap brands that fall apart. Sure helps to make every penny stretch. I would enjoy winning due to all the facts mentioned & get everything we need in one lace & one clean low price buggy swoop, found easily at #Walmart instead of wasting gas running from store to store.. My grandson’s dad is laid off for a few weeks during the back to school time so this would help their one parent working verses two as usual , budget right about now with his school items needed, so when ask why I’d hope to win, that would be why. Summer ended too soon, for us :) Thanks.
