I’ve always loved Lands’ End’s high-quality apparel and accessories, for my kids and for me. We have several of their fabulous canvas bags, as well as many outerwear items, and have always been happy with the styles and durability. When I was at BlogHer at the beginning of the month, I had the chance to check out some new products and pamper myself at the Lands’ End Night School event.
The event showcased some styles from Lands’ End, including backpacks, lunchboxes, and apparel for kids, and dresses and plus-size apparel for adults. The boys’ clothes was especially appealing to me, because my son plays hard in his clothes and likes to wear casual items. The new iron knee patch, which is an interior patch sewn to pant legs, will definitely let us get more wear out of his clothes. I also was able to pick up the backpack pictured here – my daughter loves the style, and I love the pockets and the durability. For kids that carry lots of stuff to school, Lands’ End is offering backpacks with wheels. I only wish they were around when I was in school!
The event also offered hair and makeup touch ups, which was essential for me in the NYC heat of August. A stylist from Warren Tricomi straightened my hair perfectly, while a Revlon makeup artist touched up my face. I had a headshot taken that I’m not entirely loving – it’s not my most natural smile, but I loved the makeover!
