Back in April, the morning of the Time to Play Spring/Summer showcase, I was having breakfast with Christy Matte at the Staybridge Suites NYC. She discussed her vision of a parent blogger network in Boston, but needed help with coordination. Thinking it was a great idea, I offered to be a co-founder, and the Boston Parent Bloggers was born!
Tomorrow, we are going to watch our vision become a reality at our launch party. We started planning the party when we had just a handful of members, and now we have over 90! I can hardly believe it’s finally happening, and can’t wait to meet everyone!
I also have to express my support and gratitude to the sponsors who are funding the party for us. Peapod, for providing the food, Barefoot Books for providing the space, and Isis Parenting and Stonyfield Farms who are covering the wine, serving, and other miscellaneous expenses.
Each member will also be able to enter for tons of giveaways and we have some fabulous gift bags for everyone.
