Many parents appreciate a lightweight diaper bag. After all, it is usually loaded up with tons of baby gear, diapers, wipes, and sometimes some of mom’s stuff too. If it’s practical and well designed, that is just an added bonus. One of my favorite lightweight bags is made by Lexie Barnes.
Lexie Barnes, which also designs knitting bags, has several best selling bags, including the Darling and Superstar, and the brand new Dutchess and Gem.
The fabric on these bags is amazing - it’s completely practical and easy to keep clean, while still remaining super lightweight. Several times a year, Lexie Barnes retires their fabrics and launches new patterns.
I personally own the Darling in the Lime Rickey pattern which has since been retired. This bag is a perfect stroller bag - it has external pockets for sippy cups and bottles, a black changing pad, and can be hooked onto your stroller very easily. The other bags (which I do not own) look as though are completely practical too. The Superstar is a larger bag that would be great for travel or multiple children, the Gem is a small quick trip bag, and the Dutchess is a backpack.
