One of the most daunting experiences of becoming a parent is taking responsibility for the health of this perfect little being. Visits to the doctor’s office can be very intimidating, especially as you talk about weight, head circumference, and vaccinations. For me, creating a record of my son’s information and organizing it has helped me to feel comfortable during these visits. I’ve found something that has aided me in keeping my sons’ health information organized and at my fingertips.
The Childhood Medical Journal is part record book and part informational guide to your child’s health. This great book includes a place to record information from each office visit, family medical history, and developmental milestones. It also includes helpful information on vaccinations, nutrition, and important phone numbers. With infant growth charts, you can even monitor your child’s growth. You can find the childhood medical journal at http://www.childhoodmedicaljournal.com/ along with a CD-ROM that provides important forms that can be printed out.
