A Neater Way to Eat Popsicles and Ice Cream

April 11th, 2007

As a child, (and yes, sometimes even as an adult) I’ve made a mess eating ice cream cones and popsicles.  Sometimes the ice cream or popsicle melts faster than I am able to eat it, creating a mess on my hand, on the table, on the floor, etc.  The creator of the Dripstik (a mom of 5!) realized this is a problem with lots of people, and invented the DripstikThe Dripstik is an innovative plastic holder that can be used for popsicles on one side, or ice cream cones on the other.  It’s actually made to stand up on its own, so if you’re little one gets sick of the treat, he or she can leave it for later, and actually drink the melted ice cream/popsicle!

There are loads of uses for Dripstiks.  I definitely want one for each kid in each of our cars, because stopping for ice cream is something we usually do impulsively!  I also love the idea of serving ice cream cones in a Dripstik at a birthday party - and then giving the Dripstik as a party favor!
