With my youngest son now eating solid food and moving, my world as I knew it has completely changed.  Gone are the safe, germ free days of breastfeeding and being in an infant carrier - now I have to worry about food on the floor, finger food being eaten off of restaurant tables, and the germs on shopping carts and on toilet seats (my oldest is currently potty training).

Neat Solutions has some reasonably priced, widely available solutions to these problems.   My personal favorite is the “Toppers to Go” which is a disposable sipper cup filled with disposable products - a bib, stay in place mat, a spoon, and a fork.   I have one of these in each car just in case - we’ve frequently gone to eat at a restaurant to find that we’ve forgotten to pack at least one of these items!

The “Table Toppers” are another great solution - they are stay in place mats that can be used as placemats either at home or on the go.  With finger feeding children, it’s really risky to use a plate, especially a breakable one.  Food can be placed directly on these mats with no fear of germs or spilling!

For home, the “Table Topper Floor” is perfect to keep my floor nice and clean.  My son currently drops 10 puffs for every 1 he eats, and these floor covers are exactly what we need.  After he’s done eating, we can just throw it out, and the floor is instantly clean!

Neat Solutions also has some great products to keep kids germ free while out and about.  The “Shopper Toppers” are disposable plastic coverings for shopping cart handles.  Keep a few of these in your diaper bag, and pull them out as needed!  Do you have a potty trained toddler?  If so, the “Potty Toppers” are great to keep handy if you need to use a public restroom.  Finally, the “Changing Table Toppers” can be used as disposable changing pads, or anywhere else you want a clean, dry surface!
