When my little guy started eating jar baby food, like most babies, he would only eat a few spoonfuls and then he’d be done. We would end up with a refridgerator full of baby food jars of indeterminate age and on trash pickup day, we’d have to throw them all out!
Even with best intentions, writing the date on the top of the jar didn’t always work, because we’d either forget to do it, forget the date, or couldn’t find the pen!
The founders of DaysAgo came up with a great solution to this product with the DaysAgo digital days counter. Available in either a suction cup base or a magnetic base, you can easily press the center of the DaysAgo to start a count of days (the minute you press it, starts day 0). I find the magnetic version works best for us with baby food, we just keep them stuck to the refridgerator and use as necessary.
There are loads of other uses for DaysAgo once the baby food days are over. You can use them for virtually anything - I especially like keeping one by my disposable contact lens box to countdown how many days are left before I have to throw them out. You can also keep them by the refridgerator for any other food item, such as spaghetti sauce and salsa.
