Easily Pack Snacks for the Whole Day

August 8th, 2007

Going out with a little one who is just starting to finger feed can be difficult.  He mainly eats cut fruits and vegetables, and little pieces of bread, as well as puffs and O cereal.  So, packing small quantities of all of those things either results in me packing a small cooler for a short trip, or wasting a whole bunch of plastic bags.  So, when we received the Innobaby Packin’ SMART, I was excited to test it out to see if it would work for us.

This past weekend, we were heading to a summer BBQ (for most of the day) and I wasn’t entirely sure that there would be food available for my little guy (especially since he still needs his finger food cut up super-small).  We cut up a bunch of fruit and filled up the Packin’ SMART.  With 5 separate tiers, you can actually pack 5 different items!  As my son was hungry, I just pulled out another tier, pulled off the cover, and let him pick out of it.  I actually had moms asking me where they could buy one!

The Packin’ SMART can hold up to 8 oz of infant powdered formula or about 1/3 cup of dried goods, so it’s great from the infant stages through the toddler stage.  And, you can take as many of the 5 layers as you need - so for a quick trip you can choose to take just one or two.

You can find the Packin’ SMART on their website http://www.innobaby.com.  With the coupon code MFAV0807, you can save 15% (good until 8/31).
