The Wiggles are a BIG deal in our household, and so the introduction of any new DVD is an event.  When we received the brand new Wiggles DVD - The Wiggles: Getting Strong, I was a little nervous that the introduction of the new yellow Wiggle, Sam Moran, would be hard for my preschooler to adapt to.  However, I’m pleased to say that this new DVD is a huge hit in our house!

Getting Strong in the first DVD in a new series called Wiggle and Learn.  The premise behind the series is to teach new skills and concepts to children, and this first DVD seeks to encourage both physical activity and literacy skills.  The DVD contains all brand new original content made especially for the DVD, and has a bunch of new songs that are all super catchy and fun just like the other Wiggles songs.

Sam Moran fits right in with the original Wiggles, and of course, preschooler favorites such as Captain Feathersword, Dorothy the Dinosaur, Henry the Octopus, and Wags the Dog are featured prominently in the DVD.  The Wiggles: Getting Strong is being released October 9th, and you can purchase it at Amazon.com (available for pre-order) or anywhere that you purchase DVDs.
