Fun Nursery CDs for Baby and Child

November 4th, 2007

When playing with the kids in their rooms, I always want music on in the background.  Typically, I try to choose something kid-friendly but also enjoyable for me to listen to.  Lately, we’re been listening to two great music CDs from Oxbridge Baby, and they are perfect for babies, toddlers, and preschoolers!

The first CD, Nursery Rhymes, contains 18 timeless nursery rhymes, including Mary Had a Little Lamb, Twinkle, Twinkle, and This Old Man.  While the tunes and lyrics to these songs are traditional, the arrangements are new and modern, and will definitely appeal to your little one.  Many musical styles are represented on the CD, including reggae, jazz, and the blues.

The second CD, Classical Music, was recently introduced.  It includes 15 popular classical music pieces, which are arranged and recorded specifically for little ones.  A wide variety of composers are represented including Beethoven, Chopin, Braums, and Strauss.  I find that this CD is especially good as I’m trying to get my kids to wind down before bedtime.
