This holiday season, if you are looking for fun, musically inspired, reasonably priced toys, check out the brand new toy line Baby Jamz by Mathew and Solange Knowles (Beyonce’s father and sister).  Widely available at Walmart, and very reasonably priced, this new line is inspired by hip hop and rhythm music and is so fun for toddlers and preschoolers.

The Baby Jamz line includes five toys and one CD, and we’ve played with two of the toys.  The first toy, a cell phone, is lots of fun for little ones.  My son loves running around pressing the buttons, which play one of three different hip hop versions of popular nursery rhymes.  With light up buttons and music, this toy really hits the mark for toddlers!

The second toy is the Baby Jamz Mix Master Chair - and this toy is a huge hit in our house!  Both of my kids push each other out of the way to sit on this chair!  The Baby Jamz Mix Master Chair plays fun versions of nursery rhymes (sung by Solange Knowles)  when your child sits on the chair.  Pushing one of three buttons adds fun sounds to the nursery rhymes so that your child can mix his or her own sounds!
