As a mom to be, choosing a nursery theme, complete with bedding and accessories, is one of those things you look forward to.
Whatever you choose will be a big part of your little one’s room, so it’s a big decision. Two moms, Michele Adams and Gia Russo (former Martha Stewart Living editors) recently designed a new line of nursery accessories called MiGi, that would be perfect for your little boy or girl. This new brand, consisting of two themes - Sweet and Splash, have crisp, clean patterns that don’t scream baby but are still so adorable.
The Splash theme is in shades of green and blue, and has a fish/ocean motif. While it’s most definitely appropriate for baby boys, it would also be perfect for gender neutral theme. The Sweet theme has shades of red and pink, and features flowers and butterflies. The mobile, which we have seen, is soft and plush, and is a very classy style - not too cutsy at all! My favorite thing about the MiGi line is that the styles are great not only for newborns but also for toddlers - so you can stick with one theme for quite a few years! Many nursery themes are adorable for newborns but start to look a little ”babyish” once your child gets a bit older.
The MiGi line includes gorgeous crib sets, mobiles, diaper stackers, blankets, lamps and more. You can find MiGi at Babies R Us or at http://www.migistyle.com.
