There are so many baby and infant toys on the market, and choosing one that your child will enjoy for a while is not easy.   We’ve actually found that our kids don’t necessarily love the more technologically advanced toys — in many cases they prefer classic toys that don’t require batteries.

Kids Preferred, a brand we’ve reviewed in the past (see our Eric Carle plush animal review), with its Amazing Baby line, has introduced some new products recently that are created based upon research of baby development.  Therefore, the products are age appropriate AND fun, and offer a twist on some familiar baby toys.

Take, for instance, the Stacking Toy which we received (pictured here).  This Stacking Toy, is 13” and features stackable shapes with different textures.  Babies just love feeling a variety of textures and the crinkle material and ribbon tags on the Stacking Toy offer just that!  While each piece fits together on the soft peg, they can also be played with separately.  For a young infant, you may want to pack one of the pieces in your diaper bag to keep him entertained.
