My daughter loves shoes, especially those that resemble mommy shoes.  She’s been known to walk around the house in my flip flops - despite the fact that they don’t come close to fitting her.  She also loves reading books, so when I heard about Flip N Flops, I knew that she would just love them!

In person, the Flip N Flops didn’t disappoint - they are simply adorable.  Each shoe contains a secret compartment that includes a small storybook.  The books tell a story of two children - with each shoe containing the tale from a different point of view.  The overall goal is to teach compassion and empathy, thus the company’s motto “Put Yourself in My Shoes”. 

Each storybook is made of strong water resistant paper, and gets tucked away in a plastic sleeve which can be stored in the flip flop.  My daughter loves the “top secret” compartment - it definitely adds to the fun.  The flip flops come in four kid friendly colors and includes a storybook for each shoes, while there are 5 different story combinations that can be purchased separately.
