From the moment I brought my daughter home from the hospital, I was worried about her care.  It seemed hard to believe that just one newborn care class prepared me for caring for another life.  When it came time for my husband and me to leave our daughter with a caregiver, I insisted that it should be one of our mothers, and even then, did not feel entirely comfortable.  Eventually, through quite a bit of reading, I started to feel a little more prepared for an emergency.  I just wish I had this Responsible Family DVD right from the beginning.

Care for Kids: The Essential Guide to Preparing Caregivers by Responsible Family is a must watch for all parents and caregivers.  With help from emergency room physician Dr Wayne Warrington, Responsible Family founder Britt Michaelian lays out a variety of issues that parents should watch out for.  In watching the video, I learned an unbelievable amount of information regarding poisoning, fever, asthma, drowning, and many other frightning situations. The approach in the video is comforting and informative, and not at all preachy.  It’s really a great resource for all parents.
